Bayern Munich’s downing of Borussia Dortmund on Saturday evening has seen the Bavarian giants, both from an individual and collective standpoint, etch their names into the history books of European football.
This comes with Julian Nagelsmann’s troops having now officially clinched their latest Bundesliga title.
With just three games to play, Bayern sit 12 points clear of the aforementioned Dortmund in the German top-flight, meaning, mathematically, they cannot be caught.
And, in turn, the current crop of stars plying their trade at the Allianz Arena have made not only German, but European football history.
As revealed on the back of the action coming to a close on Saturday evening, Bayern have now rattled off ten Bundesliga titles on the spin, cementing their place as the only team to ever do so across any of the continent’s top-five leagues:

Thomas Muller, meanwhile, has too become the first player to ever clinch 11 Bundesliga crowns, whilst Robert Lewandowski has equalled the benchmark for most German top-flight titles racked up by a non-German player.

Musiala seals it late
Turning attentions back towards the action itself in Bavaria this evening, Bayern ultimately survived a 2nd-half scare provided by Dortmund to emerge on the right side of a 3-1 scoreline.
After Emre Can pulled one back for the visitors on the back of first-half strikes courtesy of Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski, Jamal Musiala ensured that the three points would remain in southern Germany inside the closing ten minutes, courtesy of a result-clinching Bayern 3rd:
