Spanish giants Barcelona have resumed contract talks with winger Ousmane Dembele.
Barcelona’s sporting director Mateu Alemany is set to fly out to Morocco to meet Dembele’s agent in a bid to reopen talks over a new deal.
Dembele’s contract with Barcelona is set to expire at the end of the current season and the Catalans want to keep the player beyond this campaign.
The Frenchman was on the verge of leaving Nou Camp in January but the arrival of Xavi has seen the winger now change his mind.
The 24-year-old has registered an impressive eight assists in his last six La Liga games, including two in El Clasico last month, making him one of the first names on the team sheet at present.
Barcelona will meet with Ronald Araújo’s agents tomorrow, as per @gerardromero – it’s not the final meeting but an important one about his contract. ??? #FCB
