Laliga giants FC Barcelona have denied reports linking them with a move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
There had been reports that the Polish striker wanted a new challenge with his time at the German capital coming to an end something that Mundo Deportivo has since refuted.
Mundo says that nothing has been negotiated with the player, let alone agreeing on a deal for the transfer in the summer. The 33-year-old has a contract until 2023 with Bayern and although the Germans still haven’t entered talks with their frontman, it is believed that Poland forward will be on the move after the ongoing season.

While Barcelona has indeed explored the chances of signing Lewandowski, nothing has been made official as they have Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland as their top priority in the summer.
If Haaland decides to snub Barça, the team can take the advantage of the fact that Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has a great relationship with the club president Joan Laporta.
