Laliga giants FC Barcelona have announced Ronald Araujo has been released from the hospital.
The defender spent Tuesday night under observation following a concussion after clashing heads with teammate Gavi in the 65th minute of the 3-1 win over Celta Vigo.
In a statement, the club noted: “Tests carried out on the first team player Ronald Araujo have been satisfactory and he has been released from the hospital,” Barça said. “His recovery will dictate his return
“The Barça center back left the field in the 67th minute of the win over Celta after a clash of heads with teammate Gavi. The Frenchman Clément Lenglet replaced Araujo for Barça in the second half.”

The Uruguayan has been an important player for the Catalans this season where he has made 42 appearances this season, 29 in the league, five in the Champions League, five in the Europa League, two in the Copa del Rey and one in the Spanish Super Cup.
He has also scored four goals this season all coming in La Liga.
