Barcelona chief Mateu Alemany is fed up with Ousmane Dembele’s contract talks with the Frenchman yet to agree on a deal.
Dembele will be a free agent next month and has constantly been liked with a move away from the club despite reports indicating that the player would be willing to stay at Camp Nou if the club agrees to his demands.
Barca are financially strapped and is doing everything to cut their wage bill but Dembele doesn’t want to accept anything less than what he earns currently with Xavi uring the club to tie the player to a new deal as he is considered an important player to the team but Alemany isn’t happy with how negotiations have gone.
Ousmane Dembélé’s last game with Barcelona tomorrow? Xavi: “It could be, as for other players too… but he could also renew”. ??? #FCB
“He’s a decisive player. I really like him, I’m optimistic: I hope Ousmane will continue here at Barça”.

“Dembele’s future is known (only) by him and his agents. I have my own personal opinion on this but it’s not relevant. There is now news, the same as the last six or seven months,” Alemany told Movistar before Sunday’s game defeat to Villarreal.
The player has been linked with a move to PSG and Chelsea and with Angel Di Maria leaving the French giants, the Frenchman might be the player they’ll need to replace him.
