Giants BA United were off to a flying start on Matchday one of the Access Bank Division One League as they cruised to a 2-0 win over Berekum City FC in Zone One.
Godfred Gyau Nketiah scored a brace in either half for the home side to brush off the Berekum lads at the Coronation Park at Sunyani. Gyau Nketia opened the scoring in the 45th minute and added the second goal 11 minutes after the break with a fine finush inside 56 minutes.

Elsewhere at Ohene Ameyaw Park, Techiman Heroes pip Steadfast FC 1-0 at home. Mathew Amponsah’s 30th minute goal was enough for Techiman Heroes to carry the day against Steadfast FC.
Still in Techiman, Liberty Youth drew 1-1 against Debibi United with Rockson Kyeremeh scoring the first goal for Debibi United before the half time break and Abdul Rauf Rahman leveling matters in the 77th minute.
