Former Hearts of Oak official Aziz Haruna Futa has urged the club’s board to remain patient with head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, describing him as the right man to rebuild the Phobians if given enough time.
The Accra giants suffered a narrow defeat to Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash, a result that halted their eight-game unbeaten streak in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Despite that setback, Futa believes Hearts are heading in the right direction under the experienced tactician.
Speaking in an interview with Sporty FM, the ex-supporters’ leader emphasized that the club’s success depends on continuity.
“Didi Dramani is not a bad coach. He needs time and a project.
The club needs a project, whether six years or more, so the coach can work,” he stated.
Hearts will aim to return to winning ways when they travel to Swedru to face All Blacks on November 15.
The club last lifted the Ghana Premier League trophy in 2021, their only title in over a decade and fans are hopeful Dramani can restore the team’s former glory if given a long-term mandate.
