The Ghana Football Association believes a refreshed technical bench will sharpen the Black Stars’ chances ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum, the latest appointments are rooted in a deliberate strategy to raise standards.
He explained that strengthening the support structure is essential if Ghana is to compete effectively on the world stage.
The new-look setup includes Kim Lars Bjorkegren, Carlos Lozano Romero, Alain Ravera, Dwayne Peasah Paa Kwesi, and Jose Daniel Martinez Alfonso in various specialist roles.
“Our goal at the World Cup is to make an impact, and we can only achieve that with the best expertise guiding us,” he said.
” We believe these coaches will take us where we want to be.”
Ghana will compete in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia at the tournament.
The Black Stars face Panama on June 17, before clashes with England on June 23 and Croatia on June 27.
