A big crowd and a lot of enthusiasm at the Centro Sportivo “Città di Clusone” for Atalanta first friendly match of this pre-season, as it ended 15-0 against Rappresentativa Valseriana.
The first goal of the season was scored within nine minutes and it was netted by Palomino, who made the most of a corner kick. Boga also went on the scoresheet, with a clear-cut finish on 13 minutes and then assisted by Ederson on 17 minutes. Muriel added a fourth goal in the 20th minute, who turned Cisse’s cross in. Zapata made it 5-0 on 41 minutes and just before half-time, Boga bagged his hat-trick with a cross-shot.
The second half opened up with Miranchuk’s goal which made it 7-0 assisted by Iličić, who also scored the eight Nerazzurri goal. Malinovskyi added another and two minutes later Miranchuk scored a hat-trick. Lammers, who had previously hit the post, made it 11-0 on 82 minutes and then Hateboer, Cisse, Koopmeiners and Malinovskyi completed the job in the final 5 minutes, making it 15-0 in the first friendly of the season.
The team’s preparations in Alta Valle Seriana will continue tomorrow, Monday 11 July, with a double session at the Centro Sportivo “Città di Clusone” (the morning training will be behind closed doors, while the afternoon one – at 5 p.m. – will be open to the public).
