Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has confirmed Benjamin Asare as the team’s first-choice goalkeeper and captain.
“Benjamin Asare is our first-choice goalkeeper and also the team captain, so if he’s fit, he is unquestionably our number one,” Dramani said.
Asare has been in top form for Hearts of Oak, and his experience is invaluable to the team.
Asare made a return to action against Hohoe United after spending time on the sidelines due to injury.
In his absence, Former Dreams FC goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi guided the post, putting up commanding displays, leading to questions about a possible displacement of Asare.
However, head coach Didi Dramani has quelled the situation.
With Asare between the posts, Hearts of Oak fans can expect solid defending and confidence in goal.
The team is looking forward to seeing Asare continue his good work, especially with crucial matches ahead as they battle for the league.
