Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare is set to return to action against Medeama SC, having recovered from an injury that kept him sidelined for seven league matches.
Coach Didi Dramani revealed Asare is about 70% fit, having trained throughout the week and played 30 minutes in a friendly last week.
Asare’s return is a significant boost for the Phobians, who sit fifth in the league with 28 points, just two behind Medeama SC.
Asare, a Black Stars first-choice goalkeeper, has been in top form, winning the May/June goalkeeper of the month award and keeping five clean sheets in eight league appearances this season.
His experience and composure will be vital against Medeama SC’s strong attacking lineup.
