Asante Kotoko set to boycott the Ghana Premier League competition

According to sources, Asante Kotoko SC are considering to boycott the remaining Ghana Premier League competition after the tragic death of their Supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong popularly known as Nana Pooley at the Nana Kornamansah stadium.

The terrible incident happened on Sunday during a game between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko in the week 19 fixture in the Ghana Premier League.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association has decided to postpone all league games and invited all 18 Premier League games stakeholders for safety measures to put in place.

Initially, Nsoatreman FC have written an official letter to the Football Association confirming their withdrawal from the Ghanaian top-flight campaign.
