Asante Kotoko’s first-choice goalkeeper, Mohammed Camara, has been called up to the Guinea national team for their upcoming international friendly matches against Togo and Niger.

The matches are scheduled to take place in Casablanca, Morocco, during the FIFA International break on November 13 and 17, 2025, at Stade du 28 Septembre in Conakry.

Camara’s impressive performances for Asante Kotoko have earned him the call-up, with the goalkeeper playing a pivotal role in the team’s recent successes, including their FA Cup triumph, Champion of Champions title, and Toyota Cup victory in South Africa. He produced outstanding saves during the tense penalty shootout in the Toyota Cup victory.

Camara is expected to leave Ghana after Asante Kotoko’s Super Clash against Accra Hearts of Oak on November 9, 2025, to join his national teammates in camp.

Guinea’s coach, Paulo Duarte, has been impressed with Camara’s consistency and composure between the sticks, and fans will be eager to see him in action for the national team.
