Asante Kotoko have expressed interest in signing Brazilian forward, Bruno Liete to beef up their squad ahead of their CAF Champions league campaign next season.
It is understood that Kotoko will be willing to offer Liete a two-year-deal to make him the third Brazilian to feature for the club in recent years.
Fabio Gama and Michael Vinicius are the other two, albeit the latter departed the club last season after 78 days due to his “social lifestyle”.
Should the deal materialize, Gama and Liete are expected to form a formidable partnership in midfield.
The 27-year-old plays for Botafogo B, on loan from Athletico Paranaense. He made just a single appearance in the Campeonato Paranaense 2022.
