Asante Kotoko’s home form has dipped in recent weeks with their last hoke win dating back to October 16 – when they beat Aduana FC 1-0. They have lost their last three league games and have failed to find the back of the net in three consecutive matches against Nsoatreman FC, Dreams FC and FC Samartex.

Asante Kotoko have lost two and won one of their last three meetings with Medeama SC.  The visitors will go into the game without three key players due to their involvement in the World Cup qualifiers for Ghana. Club top scorer Jonathan Sowah (4 goals), left back Abdul Fatawu Hamidu and center back Nurudeen Abdulai are all not available for this game. In their absence, Coach Evans Adotey would reply on captain Kofi Asmah, Derrick Fordjour, Ebenezer Nkrumah, Theophilus Anobaah and Azariah Fodjour.
