Former Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan has revealed that the All Regional Games aims to sustain the buzz of the recent African Games.
The event will feature athletes competing across nine sports including Football, Athletics, and E-sports.
Gyan, the brain behind the initiative, revealed the arduous journey to its realization, spanning seven months of meticulous planning.
“It’s my idea, how to implement it is was the problem. We’ve been going back and forth for the past 7 month to make sure we get this done. At the end of the day this is the time that we decided to bring everything on board to continue the excitement from the all African game,” he reveals.
Reflecting on the inspiration drawn from the African Games, Gyan underscores the desire to maintain the excitement.
“We watched the all African games , the excitement was great and we decided to implement this one to make sure we continue the excitement,” he added.
The All Regional Games promise to be a platform for talented Ghanaians to showcase their prowess and continue the sporting excitement ignited by the African Games.
