Arsenal’s record with and without Thomas Partey since he joined has been analysed

What are the Gunners’ chances with or without the Black Stars midfielder?

Since joining Arsenal in the summer of 2020 after months of rumours Thomas Partey has battled series of injuries with the latest one coming against Crystal Palace. A game in which the Gunners were defeated 3-0.

Partey has been a key player for the Gunners this year, playing brilliantly at the base of midfield and offering power to complement former Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard’s finesse.

Arsenal’s first game without him was a 2-1 home loss to Brighton, when Albert Sambi Lokonga struggled as Partey’s substitute and midfielder Granit Xhaka was forced to step in at left-back, demonstrating how difficult the remainder of the season may be without him and Tierney.

According to Arsenal Thomas Partey will be out for weeks due to the seriousness of the injury.
