English side Arsenal are pondering a move for FC Barcelona striker Memphis Depay according to the latest reports.
Depay joined Barca last season but has failed to cement a place in the team owing to injuries and the club’s move to sign Aubameyang in January and with the World Cup coming later in the year, he wants to move to a team where he can play regularly.
The Gunners are on the hunt for a forward, having lost Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang already, and may well lose Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah this summer too. Both are out of contract in June.

SPORT reports that Newcastle United and Everton are also keen on the player who doesn’t have any defined role under Xavi Hernandez. With 13 goals in the season, he is still Barca’s top scorer but the club might be willing to listen to offers for the player as they seek to get cash to fund their moves.
Memphis who was previously featured for Manchester United, has a year remaining on his deal at Barcelona, although the Catalans have an option to extend it for a further year.
