Arsenal fans have expressed their displeasure after Thomas Partey suffered an injury prior to Ghana’s friendly game against Brazil on Friday.
The 29-year-old was set to start for the Black Stars but just a few minutes before kick-off, was forced to withdraw after picking up a knock.
Partey was withdrawn as a precautionary measure and replaced by RCD Mallorca midfielder Baba Idrissu.
As a result of the injury he picked up, the midfielder has been granted permission to travel back to London for further assessment.
Ghana suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat to the five-time champions as Neymar and Richarlison shined in a blistering first half for Tite’s side.
Brazil scored three first half goals through Marquinhos and Richarlison within 28 minutes as Black Stars struggled to cope with the pace and tempo of the game.
