Appiah McCarthy targets free-kick brilliance for Bibiani Goldstars against Asante Kotoko

Bibiani Goldstars midfielder Appiah McCarthy is aiming to score from a free-kick when his team faces Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League on Friday.

The Porcupine Warriors will welcome Goldstars to the Baba Yara Stadium at 6pm in the week 19 of the top-flight.

Ahead of the game, the former Ashantigold player is anticipating a very tough encounter against Kotoko.

McCarthy has showcased his free-kick prowess in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season and is looking forward to replicating his success in the upcoming clash.

“From colts, I have been scoring from free-kicks. I would say it’s my weapon and I always make sure I polish it so I can be different in games”

“If I’m able to start for the team and there is a freekick opportunity, I will try my possible best to score for myself and the entire team”

Bibiani Goldstars are 13th on the Ghana Premier League table with 21 points after 18 matches into the campaign.
