Ghanaian international Antoine Semenyo expressed his admiration for Manchester City’s prolific goal-scorer Erling Haaland.
Semenyo, who represents Ghana on the international stage, hopes to replicate Haaland’s impressive form in front of goal.
In an interview the AFC Bournemouth striker said “That man (Haaland) is tall…strong, fast, he can finish. He’s got everything you need as a striker.
“The aura he has…if he’s on the pitch and if you don’t mark him…he’s gonna score.
“Everyone’s trying to mark him and even if you mark him, he still scores. I remember watching him…this is the kind of striker I want to be.” He said as quoted by Earn Your Stripes.
Haaland has taken the Premier League by storm since his move from Dortmund in 2022, scoring an incredible 27 goals in 31 appearances last season, following up on his debut season tally of 36 goals.
