Emmanuel Annor’s first-half penalty proved decisive as Nations FC edged Young Apostles 1-0 in their Ghana Premier League Week 15 clash at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday.

Annor converted from the spot just before halftime, and the hosts held firm in the second half to secure all three points, maintaining their unbeaten home record this season.

The victory lifts Nations FC to 10th in the league, easing pressure on coach Frimpong Manso, who has now claimed three wins in eight games.

Young Apostles, seeking back-to-back wins after ending a five-game winless run, were unable to find a way back into the match and remain in 9th place with 20 points ;  just one ahead of Nations.

Next up, Nations travel to face relegation-threatened Vision FC, while Young Apostles will host league leaders Aduana Stars in a tough test.
