Andy Yiadom grabbed an assist in Reading FC’s English Championship loss against Birmingham City on Friday night
The Reading captain assisted his team in scoring a late consolation goal, but it was insufficient as the Royals fell 3-2 away from home.
Troy Deeney, a former Watford striker, scored Birmingham City’s opening goal at St Andrews after just 90 seconds.
Twenty minutes later, Deeney made a goal to double the advantage. After Manchester United youngster Hannibal Mejbri on loan at Birmingham and former Manchester United winger Tahith Chong combined to widen Birmingham’s advantage in the 36th minute.
Lucas Joao and Thomas Ince scored late in the game as Reading battled to score two goals. Thomas Ince’s goal in added time was assisted by defender Andy Yiadom. Baba Abdul Rahman, played 79 minutes until Nesta Guinness-Walker took his place.
Reading will play Swansea City at home on 27th December in their next English Championship game.
