Ghana’s most capped player, André Ayew, has been seen being put through his paces in the backyard of his house, as video surfaces on social media.
After being dropped by head coach Otto Addo from the Black Stars 26-man squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Ayew has cut short his vacation, in order to get up to speed ahead of the upcoming season.
Ayew played for Le Havré after departing Nottingham Forest last summer, and is on the look out for a team, with his contract due at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Dede scored 5 goals for Le Havre in 19 games and is a free agent after the completion of the French season, where he aided the team to escape relegation by the teeth.
In the circulating video, Ayew was seen working tirelessly, shuffling his feets and doing cone works with former Black Stars teammate Mubarak Wakaso.
Andrés younger brother, Jordan, is amongst the senior squad members in Otto Addo’s side, who face Mali on Thursday.
