Ampem Darkoa coach Nana Adarkwa praises players for winning WAFU B Women’s tournament

In a triumphant celebration of skill and determination, Ampem Darkoa Ladies coach Nana Adarkwa showered his players with praise following their remarkable victory in the WAFU B Women’s Tournament.

Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies defeated Delta Queens of Nigeria 1-0 in the final of the WAFU B Women’s Champions League at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City on Thursday afternoon.

Striker Ophelia Amponsah scored the only goal of the game for Ampem Darkoa two minutes before the break.

“The game has ended but we have to first thank the playing body they worked really hard because the coaches will instruct you to do this or that but if the player is not dedicated and passionate you can’t win,” he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

“Now they are praising the coaches but it is the players Ghanaians should thank the players.

“We also thank you (media) on air whatever you said we heard it. God bless Ghanaians who supported us those that didn’t support us God should touch their hearts to support us,”
