Amidaus Professionals will be without their talisman Yahaya Mohammed for the all-important home test against leaders Medeama SC in the Ghanaian Premier League on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old Asante Kotoko loanee has been influential for the Tema-based side on their debut season in the Ghanaian top-flight, scoring 11 times from a makeshift attacking role.

Yahaya has five yellow cards against his name, the last of the bookings coming in the 1-0 defeat to Hearts at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday.

Anthony Lokko will also have to deal with duo Emmanuel Ofori and Benjamin Akuffo who were both sent off in the game.

Ofori sent off in the 56th for a bad foul before skipper Akuffo picked his second booking four minutes later.

Amidaus are hoping to spring back to winning ways after failing to pick a point in their last three games but a favourable results against the leaders will be hard to come by.

Medeama are undefeated since February but that defeat came at the same venue against Amidaus’ city-rivals.

Tema Youth hammered them 4-0 to hand them their heaviest defeat of the season.

But a crucial 1-0 win over AshGold, a club led by their former coach Bashir Hayford would give them an extra motivation to go all out for a win.
