Hearts of Oak defender Ali Mohammed says the team is determined to show character when they travel to Swedru to face All Blacks on Saturday.
The Phobians are still hurting from their narrow 1–0 defeat to Asante Kotoko, a result that halted their unbeaten run in the league.
Mohammed believes the loss has fueled the squad’s desire to return to winning ways.
He revealed that training sessions this week have been intense as players push to correct their mistakes.
“We have lost previous and that match was big to us going into this game we are going all out. So that we will go and take all the points from there,” he told Hearts TV.
The defender also appealed to supporters to remain behind the team despite the setback.
“They should always try to support us like they always do because we lost that is not what we wanted but that is what happened,” he added.
Mohammed said the playing group is motivated to fight for the crest and restore confidence.
“They shouldn’t give up on our side we promise that the next game and all the games coming up we will fight for the badge for them,” he noted.
Hearts of Oak head into the weekend fixture placed fourth on the table.
The club has collected 16 points from their opening nine matches.
