Manchester United are expected to offer youngster Alejandro Garnacho a new long-term deal as a result of his performance in the 2021-22 season.
This season, the 17-year-old has shone at the Under-18 and Under-23 levels, scoring two late goals to help the Red Devils win the FA Youth Cup by defeating Nottingham Forest 3-1 on Wednesday evening.
Meanwhile, Garnacho has been working with the first squad in recent weeks, and he made his Premier League debut for the 20-time English champions against Chelsea at the end of April.
The youngster has now featured in Man United‘s past six Premier League games, and he is set to play in the team’s last Premier League match of the season against Crystal Palace.
Garnacho’s current contract at Old Trafford is set to expire in June 2023, but the Daily Mail reports that he is in line for a new long-term deal in Manchester.
