The second edition of the Jawwy Elite League Under-21 began with 36 goals in 11 matches over three days, including a record-breaking Al-Ettifaq victory, three hat-tricks and a surprise defeat for defending champions Al-Hazem.
Al-Ettifaq produced the biggest result of the opening round by beating Al-Tadhamon 10-1, immediately establishing themselves as the competition’s most prolific attacking side.

Al-Ansar also enjoyed a substantial victory, defeating Al-Fateh 6-0, while Al-Ahli beat Al-Fayha 3-1 and Al-Khaleej secured a 3-1 win against Al-Qadsiah.
Al-Ettifaq’s 10-goal performance was the standout attacking display of the round. They started quickly and maintained their pressure throughout, offering an early indication of their firepower and ambition in the competition.
Elsewhere, Al-Najma defeated Al-Taawoun 2-0 and Al-Orobah recorded the same score against Neom. Al-Riyadh edged past Al-Wehda 1-0.
Al-Hilal began their campaign with a 2-1 victory over Al-Faisaly, while Al-Ittihad and Damac played out the only goalless match of the round.
The opening fixtures also produced an early battle for individual honours, with three players scoring hat-tricks.
Mohammed Al-Eisa was the leading figure in Al-Ettifaq’s emphatic win, scoring a super hat-trick against Al-Tadhamon. Ziyad Aba scored three times for Al-Ahli in their victory over Al-Fayha, while En Rass completed a hat-trick for Al-Fateh despite his team’s heavy loss to Al-Ansar.
Those performances have given the leading scorers an early advantage in what is expected to become a closely contested race as the season progresses. Several players have already made a strong attacking impression after only one round.
The biggest surprise came at the expense of Al-Hazem, who began their title defence with a 2-1 defeat by Al-Jabalain.
Al-Hazem entered the new campaign aiming to retain the title they won in the first edition, but they were unable to protect their lead and left the match without a point. Al-Jabalain, meanwhile, sent an early warning to the rest of the league that they will not be easy opponents.
Al-Hilal’s win over Al-Faisaly gave them a positive start, while Al-Ittihad had to settle for one point following their goalless draw with Damac.
Six teams were listed as having kept clean sheets during the round: Damac, Al-Ittihad, Al-Fateh, Al-Taawoun, Al-Wehda and Neom. The list highlights the defensive contribution of several sides despite the high-scoring nature of most of the opening fixtures.
Two matches were postponed until December. The fixture between Al-Kholod and Al-Okhdood was not played, nor was the meeting between Al-Nassr and Al-Watan, meaning the full league table will not take shape until those games are completed.
