Lautaro Martinez’s agent has revealed the joy of seeing his client link up with Romelu Lukaku at Inter Milan again – and says there’s no reason for the Argentine to leave the Serie A club.
Martinez and Lukaku fired Inter to the 2021 Serie A title and will link up again next season with the Belgian forward set to rejoin from Chelsea on a loan deal.
“He and Lukaku are close – that is clear,” said Martinez’s agent Alejandro Camano. “Wearing the Inter shirt isn’t for everyone, this is a good thing.
“Lautaro is happy in Milan, he is seen as the main man and is loved. And why would he need to leave? To where? He’s already at the top.”
Lukaku is in Milan to complete his medical as his loan move from Chelsea to Inter is edging closer.
