Ivory Coast staged a remarkable comeback to top Group F at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025, defeating Gabon 3-2.
The Elephants trailed 2-0 at halftime but stormed back with three unanswered goals, including a stoppage-time winner from Bazoumana Toure.
Amad Diallo and Evann Guessand also scored for Ivory Coast, while Guelor Kanga and Denis Bouanga had put Gabon ahead .
This win secures Ivory Coast’s place at the top of Group F, ahead of Cameroon, who drew 1-1 with Mozambique.
The Elephants will face Burkina Faso in the Round of 16 on January 6, 2026, in Marrakech.
