Morocco secured a convincing 3-0 win over Zambia, booking their spot in the AFCON 2025 round of 16 as group winners.
Ayoub El Kaabi scored a brace, including a spectacular overhead kick, while Brahim Diaz added the third goal.
The match, played at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, saw Morocco dominate possession and create numerous chances.
El Kaabi’s opening goal came in the 9th minute, and Diaz doubled the lead in the 27th minute. El Kaabi sealed the win with his second goal, a stunning scissor kick, in the 50th minute.
With this win, Morocco finishes top of Group A with 7 points, while Zambia is eliminated with 2 points. Morocco will face one of the best third-placed finishers in the round of 16.
