Aduana Stars coach Yaw Acheampong hails team’s performance despite defeat to Samartex

Aduana Stars coach Yaw Acheampong has hailed his outfit performance despite succumbing to defeat against Samartex in the Ghana Premier League.

The two-time league champions suffered a 2-1 defeat to Samartex at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Monday in the week 18 of the top-flight.

Baba Musah opened the scoring for Samartex after just eight minutes into the game before Emmanuel Keyekeh scored a belter to seal victory for the visitors.

The home team grabbed the consolation goal through Sampson Cobbinah in the 75th minute mark.

Despite the defeat, Yaw Acheampong insists he is satisfied with his outfit output in the clash.

“I think I’m satisfied with the performance, especially in the second half but we conceded very early and it made the game very difficult for us.

“We made the mistake for them to score earlier so it made the game very difficult for us. But that’s football. We will see what we will do in the next game,” Coach Yaw Acheampong said in his post-match.
