Accra Hearts of Oak has bid farewell to three players—midfielder Michelle Sarpong, striker Albert Eounde, and midfielder Eric Esso.

The announcement, made via the club’s official social media channels on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024, has sent ripples through the football community.

The club’s post reads: “Accra Hearts of Oak has mutually parted ways with the underlisted players.

This move comes as Accra Hearts of Oak is actively engaged in reshaping its squad for the upcoming challenges in the second half of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season. With a keen eye on bolstering their ranks, the Phobians have taken the decision to part ways with Sarpong, Esso, and Eounde.

Michelle Sarpong, who featured in six matches this season, is among the departures, along with Albert Eounde, who made nine appearances, and Eric Esso, who contributed eight times on the field.

Accra Hearts of Oak is 10th on the league table with 21 points.
