Ghanaian center back Abdul Mumin is in the running for La Liga’s goal of the Year adter his fine strike against Osasuna.
Mumin nestled an angled effort in the net during Osasuna’s game with Rayo Vallecano in October.
The goal was named La Liga goal of the month and has now been shortlisted among La Liga’s goal of the year.
Mumin’s beauty was one of his two goals he scored in the season, with the other coming against Real Madrid.
The Ghanaian was enjoying a terrific season until injury struck in the game against Sevilla, ultimately curtailing his season.
Mumin will be up against Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, Real Betis’ Antony, among others.
