Abdul Jalilu, Razak Simpson, Evans Osei Wusu make Laryea Kingston Team of the Week for Matchday 23

Dreams FC captain Abdul Jalilu, Nations FC defender Razak Simpson and FC Samartex winger Evans Osei Wusu have been named in Laryea Kingston’s Team of the Week for Matchday 23 following their excellent performances over the weekend.

Jalilu led Dreams FC to a goalless draw against Medeama SC at Akoon Park in Tarkwa – a difficult ground for visiting teams. The defender controlled his mates and led by example as Karim Zito’s men grabbed a vital away point from the League champions. Also in the team are Razak Simpson and brace hero Evans Osei Wusu of FC Samartex 1996.

Razak Simpson was the pillar in defence for Nations FC in their 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday. The former WAFA SC player was absolutely outstanding as his Man of the Match performance kept the front line of Asante Kotoko quite throughout the ninety minutes.

Winger Evans Osei Wusu scored a brace in either half as FC Samartex 1996 beat Accra Hearts of Oak 2-0 at the Nana Nsenkyire Park. Other players in the list are, Great Olympics’ Albert Amoah, Emmanuel Keyekeh of FC Samartex, Emmanuel Odai of Bibiani Gold Stars and Joseph Kinful of Bechem United.
