Ghanaian forward Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has praised Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy, describing him as a special player who made everything easier for his teammates.
Issahaku, who played alongside Vardy for two seasons, revealed that he loved seeing the English striker score goals.
“I think Jamie (Vardy) always makes everything easier for wingers because you know always when you try to put the ball in the 18 yards, he was going to put it in the net,” Issahaku said.
“So for me, he was someone special and I always was feeling better and happy when he scored. When we played I preferred he scored, that was how special it was for me.
When he scored, it’s just amazing.”Issahaku also praised Vardy’s impact on the team, saying,
“He made it easy to win games and I am so happy to have played with him in my life.” Vardy left Leicester City after 13 years to join Cremonense in Italy.
Despite Vardy’s departure, Issahaku has enjoyed a good start to the season, scoring three goals and delivering two assists in 12 matches for Leicester.
