Ghanaian rising star Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has revealed his admiration for Black Stars captain Andre Ayew, considering him his idol while growing up. Issahaku expressed his fondness for Ayew’s playing style and, more importantly, his profound passion for football.

Speaking about his football journey, Issahaku mentioned, “When I was coming up, I looked up to Andre Ayew. I liked how he was playing and how much passion he had for football. There were some players who played in the local league, and I liked them too, but Ayew was my idol. I was really watching him. It was his playing style and his personality as well.”

He continued to praise Ayew’s commitment to the game, stating, “He always had a passion for the game. He always gave his all to the team, and at that time, I just loved him. I wanted to be like him, and now I play with him for Ghana.”

Currently on loan with Leicester City FC from Sporting Club, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has shown significant improvement and has become a key figure in the Foxes’ attacking lineup. He is actively contributing to Leicester City’s efforts to reclaim their position in the English Premier League
