Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored as FC Aarau thumped Etoile Carouge 3-0 in the Swiss Challenge League.
Barnieh, who came on as a substitute, netted the third goal for Aarau in the 85th minute, capping off a dominant performance by the visitors.
Shkelqim Vladi had earlier scored two goals, putting Aarau in a comfortable lead.
Barnieh’s goal was his ninth of the season, adding to his five assists in 24 appearances for Aarau.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian forward has been impressive for FC Aarau, helping the team push for promotion in the Swiss Challenge League.
This win moves Aarau to second place in the league table with 56 points, three behind leaders FC Vaduz.
