Tchouameni breaks silence on his future

French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has broken the silence over his future at Monaco.

The combative player is one of the most sought-after players and is expected to attract a bidding war from some of the best teams in Europe but reports indicate that he wants to play in the Premier League.

The player who has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Manchester United has thrown his future in the air by stating that he would see what happens in the summer.

“I am contracted here (Monaco) until 2024 with the option until 2025. We’ll see what the future has in store for me. The transfer window is always a period where lots of things can happen.

“There is my personal case, but there are cases for lots of other players who are out of contract or who perhaps have desires elsewhere,” the player said as quoted by The Mirror.

Liverpool has an upper hand in the fight for the player as they will be playing in the Champions League but the urge to play for United and a new manager with a good salary might prove to be tough for the player to turn down.

Tchouameni has had another stellar campaign for Philippe Clement’s men, featuring in 47 games in all competition, and has been linked with PSG and Real Madrid too.
