Zapping World Eleven EXCLUDED: Ronaldo, Ben Arfa, Lassana Diarra… Hannibal Mejbri’s dream eleven!
While images of Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid players celebrating the title of Spanish champion went around the world, the coach of the Meringue just made a huge revelation about his future.
“After this chapter of Real Madrid, I will probably retire. But if Real wants me to stay here for 10 years, I will stay 10 more years” declared the Italian technician at the microphone of Prime Video. Under contract in the Spanish capital until June 2024, Ancelotti also mentioned a possible rebound in a selection: “The national team in the future may be an option. Canada? Why not? I would like to”.
Before watching the Canadians’ performances at the next World Cup, Ancelotti is preparing for his Champions League semi-final against Manchester City tomorrow (9 p.m.) at the Santiago Bernabeu. A victory against Citizens would surely encourage Florentino Pérez to extend it “ten more years”.
