Large sections of the home support in attendance at Manchester United’s meeting with Brentford on Monday night have made use of the opportunity to take aim at those in a position of power at the club.
The subject of the ownership situation on the red half of Manchester has of course long represented something of a contentious matter.
This comes with much of the blame for the Red Devils’ prolonged spell of mediocrity both on and off the pitch having been largely attributed to ongoing failure at the very top of the club’s pyramid.
Amid United’s latest outing on Monday, it therefore came as little surprise to hear the Red Devils faithful, once again, make their feelings known.
Early in the club’s Premier League showdown with Thomas Frank’s Brentford, large sections of the home support in attendance at the Theatre of Dreams came together to belt out a rendition of:
‘We want Glazers out’

Fernandes on target
Such chants arrived swiftly on the back of United opening the evening’s scoring inside ten men minutes on Monday.
A fine sequence of play down the hosts’ right saw Anthony Elanga slipped in over the top by Diogo Dalot, with the former’s superb pull back across the face of goal having been lashed home in emphatic fashion by the arriving Bruno Fernandes:
