Pep Guardiola has confirmed Manchester City will miss the services of Kyle Walker and John Stones when they take on Leeds United over the weekend.
City travel to Elland Road to take on Leeds United on Saturday and Guardiola has addressed the media ahead of the weekend’s encounter.
On Walker and Stones
“Yes, Kyle Walker is out. [Out for the rest of the season?] I don’t know right now. I’m not worried at all, he’s injured unfortunately for all of us and him especially,” said Guardiola.
“I must focus on the rest of the players. John Stones? For tomorrow he’s out and we’ll see for Wednesday.”
On his future
“I don’t know. Leeds is the focus, an important thing. Congratulations to Jürgen [Klopp] and Liverpool. [His extension is] good for the Premier League … My future is Leeds, our future is Leeds.”
“Honestly, I’m so concerned about the last three weeks of the season, I don’t have time [to hold talks with the club].”
City will be keen to pick from where they left having beaten Real Madrid 4-3 earlier this week in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals.
