Popular musician in South Korea, DinDin has shared that he does not believe the national team has what it takes to top Group H in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
According to him, the Asian national team has been pitted in a tough group and it will take a lot for the side to advance to the knockout stage of the tournament.
“Many people will have anxiety. Korea will face Uruguay, Ghana and Portugal in the group stage in turn.
“When we (singers) release a soundtrack, what’s the difference from ‘I wish we could win first place this time’? I know it won’t work, but why is everyone turning to the happy circuit?” he said. Still, he added, “Honestly, if we get to the round of 16 with 2 wins and 1 draw, I think it would be great,” Musician DinDin who is a big football fan said in an interview.
South Korea will play its first match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in a game against Uruguay on November 24.
