Technical advisor of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton has assured Ghanaians that the Black Stars will be very prepared for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana will be making a return to the global showpiece after missing the 2018 edition in Russia.
This will be the country’s fourth ever appearance. The four-time African Champions have been drawn in a tough group alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
‘One thing I’m confident of is the work Otto and the technical staff have put in,’ Hughton said in an interview with Daily Mail.
‘This team will be very well prepared and the players will give everything. We will have to play well and we’ll need a bit of luck. But we’ve seen in past tournaments that anything is possible for a country like ours.’
