Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner hopes Ansgar Knauff will recover before the winter break.

Frankfurt head coach Oliver Glasner provided a brief update on Ansgar Knauff’s thigh injury on Friday. The coach hopes the player will be ready to play before the winter break.

“I have hope that he can still intervene this year. We do everything for it. He was someone who worked very hard on his comeback yesterday. But it’s not the right thing for me to make a prediction now,” said Glasner at the press conference before the away game in Mönchengladbach.

The next two games before the break are still being viewed for a possible comeback.

“We have hope that he will be available at least in the last week when we play three Bundesliga games,”

“two weeks from a fascial injury in the thigh. Bitter for him: In the weeks before he had a lot of playing time,”

Ansgar Knauff has played eight games in the Bundesliga this season for Frankfurt.
