Ghana’s Agyemang-Badu, Top African legends to attend CHAN draw

Former Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is among a star-studded list of African legends that have been invited by CAF to attend the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship Algeria 2022 final draw on Saturday night, 01 October 2022.

The draw will be conducted live at Opera House of Algiers at 19h00 local time (18h00 GMT/ 20h00 Cairo time/ 21h00 East African time).

The event will be live broadcast on CAF platforms and several TV stations in Africa and beyond.

The list also include Mohamed Nasnoush (Libya), Aymen Mathlouthi (Tunisia) and Robert Kidiaba (DR Congo). The phenomena Albelmoumene Djabou (Algeria), Hytham Mustafa and Mohamed Tahir (Sudan).

Badu has won over 70 caps for the Black Stars and played in five Africa Cup of Nations and the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

He participated in the first edition of the CHAN in Côte d’Ivoire where they were runners up. He is currently on the books of Ghana Premier League side Accra Great Olympics FC.
