My goal is to help Hermannstadt and score goals – Baba Alhassan

Ghana’s Baba Alhassan has reacted to speculation about a move away from  Hermannstadt. He welcomed the attention but insisted he is happy with his current club.

The 22-year-old has managed to impress the technical handlers at AFC Hermannstadt. He is currently one of the best footballers in the Romanian top flights.

“Yes, I am honored by all this attention, but my main goal is to play football. I love this sport and I give everything on the field. That’s all that matters! If we are happy and treat the phenomenon with the respect it deserves, then the fans and all those who follow us either from the rostrum or on TV, are also happy,” he told LPF.ro

“There are many terrible things going on in the world, so it’s worth enjoying moments of happiness. We do and we will do our duty. We’re fine right now, so we can be optimistic. We have a homogeneous team with a coach who gives us confidence,”

“Personally, my goal is to help the team and score goals. If the empty passes come, so much the better! Here we are like a family and we take care of each other. We respect each other very much,” he ended.
