Spain winger Nico speaks on Inaki Williams’ decision to play for Ghana

New Spanish winger, Nico Williams has reacted to his senior brother’s decision to play for Ghana.

Having played for the Spanish national team in 2016 against Bosnia, Inaki has completed a nationality to play for the West African country.

Nico, who has been handed a maiden call-up to the Spanish national team ahead of the Uefa Nations League game against Portugal and Switzerland was quizzed if he will follow the footsteps of his senior brother.

According to him, he is focused on making an impact but supports his senior brother in his decision.

“I am very focused and very happy to be here. I am very proud to be with these players and in this team,” he told the MARCA.

“It is a decision that he will have to make, and whatever he decides, I will be there to support him,” he added.
