Red-hot Mohammed Kudus scores in fifth consecutive game for Ajax

Mohammed Kudus scored in his fifth consecutive game for Ajax in all competitions on Sunday.

The Ghanaian international was on target again for the Dutch giants in their 2-1 defeat to AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie.

The 12th minute strike was his sixth goal in his last 5 matches.

The 22 year old’s incredible goal-scoring streak began after he came off the bench to seal the victory for Ajax in the 4-0 thumping of Cambuur.

He followed that up with stunning solo goal and an assist in the 4-0 victory over Rangers in the UEFA Champions League group A opener at the Johan Cryuff Arena.

His next victim was Heerenveen, Kudus bagged a brace in a 5-0 league win against the Super Frisians.

Then came Liverpool in the Champions League, the Black Stars midfielder found the back of the net with a brilliant strike in their 2-1 defeat at Anfield.

Next up for the brilliant Kudus is international duty with the Black Stars.

The former Right to Dream trainee is set for a starring role in the friendlies lined up against Brazil and Nicaragua this month.
